Well this is certainly a friendly forum! Thanks for all your suggestions (and funnies). This is what I have been banging on about.

Never noticed that on ours. Driving to Croatia on Thursday, bet I will notice them now. That should concentrate my mind on finding a good solution.

Hi and welcome, wait until you put a dash cam on the screen, the reflections play hell with the picture quality, you have to mount it very close to the dash to avoid them then it gets very hot from the heater vents.

Well reached Croatia on Saturday plenty of sunshine, never noticed the reflections until15 kilometres from destination and bam, it's almost all I can see. Suspect solution for me is physcological.
