Too far for me, so I'll just crack on making some more poppies .

Unless someone is travelling back from Spain and can bring mine I'll not be getting to the UK until September. I hope that's not too late? And ... I expect to do quite a few more during the summer travels.

Far too expensive to post from here, I'm afraid.

I’m still knitting them....albeit slowly.

I have tried and tried and failed at crochet. I must be getting old, I have to take my glasses off to see the needle and put them back on to watch the YouTube tutorial. I then miss the stitch on the video, have to start all over again and then need a large G&T to recover!

I’ll stick to knitting :D2
Oh you made me giggle.....thank you for that, your a star turn.(y)

@CCC kindly gave us a couple of cones of knitting machine wool, a bag of needles and lots of patterns. We’ll bring it to old Mo’s and you can all fight over the treasure lol!

September would be fine for posting to me as we have events planned up to June next year and probably beyond. Reading about the ending of WWI has been an eye opener, 11th November was just a ceasefire with no real treaty. Our memorial is 1919 (Treaty of Versailles) but the war did not officially end until 2010 when the last of the clauses in The Treaty of Versailles was fulfilled :(

(I also found another 5 in my bag but can't remember if I have already counted them so just in case I won't do them again.)

Still sounds good Janine. Nice thought. A photo, if possible once done, would be nice ... never thought of that ... if I were at home all the time I think I might like to do it in a small way...... Do you do knitted flowers or just drape wool over shrubs?

The ones I have seen are knitted / crochet / woven squares or rectangles tied round lamp-posts, railings, and sometimes trees and shrubs. It is important not to damage anything :)
