Going to Delft in April 2018 via Hull-Rotterdam. Which Supermarket should we use for supplies and Diesel. I have a Revolut Card, do I load it with Sterling and use ATM’s to exchange to Euro’s or load it with Euro’s through my current account.
Thank you colin

Put sterling on to the card then use Revolut to convert it to Euro (do this between now and travel date when you think the rate is best). Use the card to pay for everything in Euro. You'll get a better exchange rate from revolut than any bank cash machine. Just watch how many cash withdrawals your can do "free" in any month.

Other card companies may offer similar deals.

We found that food shops will not accept credit or debit cards and in first instance had to leave trolly and go to a cash machine to get some to pay.

As above, found difficulty using our cards. Can't say which supermarkets to use as we just used local shops most of the time.

We generally use Halifax Clarity and get best ratera no commission etc and no need for loading. Had a Thomson travel one years ago but it wouldn't allow withdrawal and charged for transactions so it finally ate any residual money on it

If you are likely to need more cash from the ATM than Revolut allows without charges then you could open a Sterling bank account which makes no charge at all for cash withdrawals in Euros - we've got one as a back-up to our Revolut cards (we have one each so have double the ATM cash limit).
