Hi everyone,

Does this layout have a specific name?

It's an Auto-Sleepers Stanway, a 6m PVC.

Anyone know if this layout is available from other marques too?

Looks like a lot of dead space in the day then a hassle to make up on a night. Also the one nice thing with our overcab double is the missis can go to bed & I can stay in the lounge and relax. With that your both in bed and I can't relax having to make up the bed when all I really want to do it sit and have a beer while watching TV

Each to there own though.

Exactly why we have a separate bedroom with single beds and a large seating area, I don't do bed times. Must come from years of working shifts i'th mills err Yorsheerxroll:

IH have a front lounge version which I was quite envious of when I saw it a Malvern. The difference between the layout you pictured and the IH is that 2 people can relax with feet up once driver’s seat turned around. There is a table not pictured which can be put up in front of bench seat.

I would call it rear kitchen or bathroom

Murvi do similar sorts of layout - and are a quality conversion.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I'm still researching my possible downsizing options and this layout really caught my eye. Good to know there are other manufacturers offering something similar too.

Looks like a lot of dead space in the day

Which is exactly why it caught my eye.... my dog is kinda large and needs more room than most.

If she walks to rear lounge at the end of a PVC she can't then turn around and she has to reverse back out. So this amount of 'dead space' could be ideal :D

It's called a "perfect for you " if that's you type of conversion.
Vans are very personal to someone's needs

I've had loads of campers with mske up beds and vws with rock n roll beds etc which suited me perfectly at the time.

Because I'm full timing in my van now and will he for a while I opted for one where I had a fixed bed and separate lounge etc
But if it was just for holidays and able to be used daily as my car....then making a bed up wouldn't be a hardship for me

Not seen an Autosleeper Stanway before:

Not bad but a lot of wasted space and not a massive amount of storage in the lower kitchen area, also for me I'd prefer an 'L' shaped lounge rather than a dinette which means the front driver's seat can't be swivelled so could make it feel less spacious and sitting on the side sofa and looking out through the open sliding door is bliss, not something you can easily do with a dinette arrangement

WildAx Constellation is similar.

I had this one on loan for 3 months this year and absolutely loved it.
