should of had them install a grease nipple in your armpit whilst you were under. then when it gets stiff, you just add a pump of all purpose grease

All reddy got the jobs that need doing allocated.
To my willing assistants most of it is cleaning up the oily finger prints that are every whare.

I dislocated my shoulder once and I found it most painful when sleeping. The pain would wake me up in the early hours each morning.
The doctor said when I was lying down fluid would gather in the joint and make it swell up. The answer was to sleep propped up on pillows so the fluid would drain away from the joint. It took a couple of weeks for the pain to go but no problems with it now and I learned a valuable lesson - don't go skiing. :)
Or failing off steps

Morning Bill.
Glad to see that you are on the mend (y) but I just can't help feeling that you'll do too much when you do get discharged, and undo all the good work by the surgeon and nursing staff. :(

I do hope I am wrong pal. ;)

Take care,

Jock. :)

physio terrorists as we refer to them as are only trying to help, but it really hurts. I know from experience. I also know that keeping up the exercises regularly every day really helps. as does using an ice pack every day. a pack of peas is ideal. use then refreeze and use again. when done after a few weeks bin them, as they taste awful. how do i know? the wife opened the wrong bag once after 6 or so defrosts and re-freeze cycles

Hope you are recovering well Bill and not lifting the Spanners!(y)
Not lifting any spanners yet it's getting better still hurts but getting better every day.
I still have work to do for the MOT but it will have to wait.
Or put it in to be done not my most favorite option.
The wee man brakes off a week Friday for nine and a half weeks a week this Friday
Hopefully we can have it fixed for the summer holidays

Don't want to pour petrol on your fire Bill but my son (just) broke his thumb 2 months ago and was told not to drive and to inform his insurance company.

Nothing in writing though so he gave it a week or so (didn't tell the insurance company anyway) and started driving when he felt safe...........

Insurance companies will look for any reason to avoid paying claims............(n)

haven't Ben told by the doctors to inform my insurance company.
It's not considered a permanent disability.
So there for no requirement to ether inform dvla or insurance company
I hopefully in abut a week or two eable to drive the car will have to see how the cortisone injections go apparently it will help with the pain in the joint
Sounds painful in its own right
