We have been looking around for our first campervan/motorhome and have found Danbury. Have to say we were very impressed at the set up and tour of their workshop.
Whilst their new vehicles are a stunning, they are out of our current range but they are starting to access used VW vans direct from VW leasing and these will be kitted out as per new stock, difference being the price.
As we need our "home" to be an active second vehicle these vehicles seem to tick all the boxes.

I think this is the trick to identify which vehicle suits you, which lay out be comfortable but carry the bits and pieces you want good luck with your search.

I'd forgotten about this post! After spending a lot of time looking at VW T5 conversions Danbury were top of the list but............
By the time you added your specifics you were just as well buying a bespoke VW model! Hence - our California. Stunning bit of kit and it should sell without too much trouble. (info on the owners forum points to this)

Interesting to see the "Doubleback" get the praise it does. Seems a gimmick to far IMHO.
