What's best/easiest way to book sites this year as quite a few are full?

I'd not used Searchforsites before. Just checked it out. It is really good, isn't it?

I will have to check out membership as we've not been in the C&CC for years. Bet it has gone up a lot since we were last members.

The Aires in Northern Spain are pretty darned good I have to say. I wish we had a similar system in the UK.

How do you find the none club sites Bob? Is there are a central source or is it just a case of Googling and calling?

That would be a good stop off for us next time we are heading down to Cornwall. It is pretty much half way. I will make a note to do that :)

I will check that out Spriddler We've wildcamped for so long I've almost forgotten the luxury of being on a site. Although just paid £43 for the site last night. Ouch, as a Yorkshireman that really hurt ;) I don't really know at the moment. We were in Cornwall a month ago, and been in the...

    Safefill cylinder making a hiss

That looks cool. So just to be clear, you have two Safefill cylinders, connected together, both at the same time, so you don't have to worry about swapping them over. If that is the case then you just need to fill them both up each time and you're good to go for weeks. Cool. I didn't know you...

    Safefill cylinder making a hiss

That could be it as I did fill it right up, although I stopped as soon as the pump clicked off. Maybe I could connect it back up and leave it standing outside for ten minutes and see if it goes away.

    Safefill cylinder making a hiss

I did find a black plastic circular thing in the cabinet David. It is flat on one site and curved on the other. I've attached some photos. Is that it?

What's best/easiest way to book sites this year as quite a few are full?

Hi Everyone. I want to book some periods of time away over the next six months to keep my good lady happy. Problem is, quite a few of our favourite sites seem really full. Can anyone recommend an easy way to find availability without me having to go to each individual site and check manually...

    Safefill cylinder making a hiss

That could be what's happened. I can't see a black rubber tip anywhere. Should the rubber be attached to the gas pipe/lead or to the cylinder itself?

    Safefill cylinder making a hiss

I filled up my Safefill cylinder last week and when I came to turning the tap on this week it was making a little hiss. Luckily, we have a calor cylinder as well so I swapped them over as I figured having a hissing gas cylinder was not a good idea. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to...

Where can I buy replacement carpets

They look great and the ability to just throw them in the washer without worrying would be terrific. I will measure up and see how that option might compare to the others. Thanks Coolcats

Where can I buy replacement carpets

Actually that would work really well for the front bit as it is completely square. My cutting skills might not be up to snuff for the kitchen and bedroom though as it is all round edges. But at that price it is a very tempting option worth considering. Thanks barsteward
