  • Hi
I’ve just joined this site and was looking through it and saw your post. I’m coming to the Peak District next weekend - taking my son out from Notts Uni for a good dinner and a good walk!! However, a lot of the campsites are closed. As it’s March, I’m thinking of just finding a quiet lane somewhere near a nice pub! But thought I’d ask you if you have any better ideas. Many thanks in advance. Lucy

    Hi,
Depending where you're going to it should be easy to find a tucked away lane or two. There also might be a britsop or two that would suit. You could try Bakewell old railway station, Edale station car park,
The Ladybower Inn on the A57 and the Anchor Inn on the A623 / B6049 both allow stopover and the food is good. Hope this helps.
