＠How to Mention Other Members in Posts​

Want to get someone’s attention in a thread or reply directly to them? Just mention them! It’s easy, and it sends them a notification so they don’t miss your message.

Here’s How:​

  1. Type the @ symbol followed by the member’s username — no spaces.
  2. As you start typing, a dropdown list of matching usernames will appear.
  3. Click the correct name, and it will automatically format the mention (like Jim).
Example:
If you type Jim in your post, Jim will be notified that he’s been mentioned.

Why Use Mentions?​

  • To reply to someone directly
  • To bring someone into a conversation
  • To thank or tag someone who helped
