Chucked it down with rain on the way to Telc. We stayed on the aire to the north of the town, about £6 for 24 hours. Went in for a mooch and had a dark Budvar in the "square".

Rain was threatening so we headed back closer to the van and went to the brewery next door to the parking.

Pansky Pivovar, Telc.
The beer was just beer. I don't know whether I was getting used to Czech beer but the lager all tasted pretty much the same. All still good beer though. When they try something different it's usually a copy of another beer or just plain weird. In the brewery we had beer and goulash.
Next morning sun was shining again so we went around the town for another look. Lots of coach loads of Japanese tourists so must be high on the tourist trail. Telc is another UNESCO World Heritage site. Its square is oblong and is the largest in the Czech Republic.

As usual there are lots of fountains and staues around the square. A lot of the buildings are very ornate.

At one end is the castle which unfortunately was closed.

Down a side street and over a wooden bridge there is a walk with great photo opportunities.

The town is twinned with Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany one of our favourite places.
Overall a very nice place .
