Another weekend and we found an ACSI site for £20 P/n that had two rallies going on. One was a scooter rally with a stage so we quite fancied that. We needed to do some washing etc so it seemed a good place. The town looked ok and it had a brewery.
When we got there there was a scooter rally but not the classic Lambretta type but modern things with fat old men on (and a few fat old women).

There was a stage with music and lots of tent bars and food. All the scooter "boys" were in the cabins or in tents.
The other rally was from Denmark, most in Kabe caravans. We had quite a choice of pitches when we turned up but these soon dissapeared during the day. In the end it was rammed.
We had a mooch down to the stage about 6.

The band that was on was truly awful. The beer was nice and cheap though and was Radogast.
I had a warning on the phone about an impending storm and told a Dane opposite. He went round telling everyone on the rally and all the sun canopies came down and people started putting extra straps on the awning. It got dark rained a bit got a little windy then it went.
The next day we caught up on washing. The machine was about £1.20 per wash. A hot day that got all the washing dry.
We mooched around where the scooters were but they were getting seriously bladdered. Some had come from Poland and knew how to drink.
Sunday we walked into the town and then on to the brewery.
We had a taster of 5 beers and all were not great.
After tasting I plumped for Rothschild, Angela the honey beer.

This was another place you could have a bath in beer as well as drink as much as you want while in the bath. I assumed it wasn't the beer you were sat in.
We both ended up with a large sausage in us, which we were not expecting. (Joke licenced from Jane not Rog without permission).
