We have been here before. A couple of times in the same holiday. It rained on the first occasion and looked terrible, met with Paula's parents on second occasion and looked great. Parking has moved to a tight bridge over a canal then car park adjacent to another canal a sand wedge away from town.
The cycling is unfortunately bland. We went one way 8 km and saw nothing, no locks nothing interesting in this wide section of the NBC. We turned round and came back went out another way past some gilets rouge on strike with heavy gendarme presence all round town. Again no locks but slightly more interesting.
The aire has a repair bike shop next to it. It's dusty with no facilities but boats actually pass here and it is a nice marina.
Found the town. It is actually quite nice. You need to go past the big church
