Close to the German border is the small spa town of Marianske Lazne. We found a nice (cheap) campsite about a mile away. It was getting full and they had a rally in the back field. As we didn't need electric we went on another empty field. Again we just wanted to chill as it was now very hot. Itried to get somewhere that had shade in the morning and night but enough sun during the day to charge the batteries. It's the eternal problem with solar, useless in winter, in summer when you want shade they are useless again.
Really hot weather which turned into a thunderstorm on Sunday.
We heard music from what seemed a long way away. At first I though it was from the other side of the lake. We only heard one song then some mumbling then the same song again. In the end i went to have a look and some God botherers had taken over the back of the sight, all stood there with their arms in the air singing the same song. This went on all weekend.
I don't like religion, I know it's strange that I love going around an old church, Cathedral etc, we've even been round the vatican, but I can't be done with it.

Marianske Lazne is a well known spa town that is yet another UNESCO site. We had planned to visit on the sunday but the thunderstorm put paid to that. At least it got rid of the god botherers.
On the Monday as we were leaving the Czech Republic and I had quite a few Czech Crowns we drove into Marianske to do some shopping. When I say shopping I mean taking all my bottles back and filling up with Kozel.
I filled my tank with cheap diesel (about £1.10 p/l) and managed to get rid of it all except for a 100Kr note (£3). It is so close to the German border it makes sense to come back here and fill up with bothe cheap diesel and cheap beer.
