After leaving at 9am and travelling up the Romantic Strasse we got to Dinksbuhl 20 mins later. There are two aires and we chose the one to the north. We got a decent spot and there were four other Brits on as well. The first time we had seen Brits since leaving Germany weeks before. The solar was playing up so we needed electric, well we didn't need it but as it was a meter we could pay only for what we use. At first I couldn't read the meter so took a picture. Again the Gods were along for the ride as we had nearly 10 euro on the electric meter.

Someone must have been putting money without selecting the pitch number. Pity we didn't have air condioning.
We had breakfast and went into town. Again it was very hot so we were constantly looking for shade.
Dinksbuhl is a chocolate box town that is on a par with Rothenburg in my opinion. Its a bit smaller but everywhere is beautifully kept.

First stop was ice cream then a wander around the streets.

We were back at the van by One o'clock where we chilled for the afternoon.

We went out again in the evening for a beer.
The next day we went in early and went round the church. Here again was a body in a fish tank.

If you look closely he only has one leg. I thought he must be a saint of one legged people but no. Next to him is a sign.

Translated it says one of his legs was stolen in 2010. I can imagine it in a students bedsit.
