We only had a couple of days left now. On the way to Rotterdam is Ahrweiler. The place is still recovering from flooding in 2021 which killed 188 people.
The campsite is gone and has been replaced with a Stellplatz just outside the city walls. The bridge was washed away and a temporary one is in place.
Another nice walled town which we thought we would support by spending a few pounds here.
They are rebuilding the river walls which was very noisy from 8am, so we cleared off early to the next stop in the Netherlands.
