Sorry to hear that pal. I hope all is well with you and yours. Its a pity its not a 14ft bed, I am looking to replace my BJ Smart trailer for a bigger one and would have been glad of yours, knowing it would be in good nick.

I thought you were going to start singing this (based on the thread title):

Trailer for sale or rent
Rooms to let...fifty cents.
No phone, no pool, no pets
I ain't got no cigarettes
etc.

So we are just going to "A" frame round France till we call it a day

I hope that isn't too soon Mo.

Hi Mo. We are not so good on the pins nowadays so got a couple of scooters. Thats why I need a longer trailer, so I can put the Smartcar in the front and the 2 scooters behind. Am going to have a cover made for it to keep everything clean. Would the lad be OK with a scooter do you think. That way you can still get about. The one Pat has is an all terrain jobby with big balloon tyres, so no problems on sand or wet grass. Just a thought pal.

Thanks mate...

He has got one, Dave..... but doesn`t realise you have to slow down going round corners..

So not really suitable when he is on his own...

Simple solution is unplug the fast speed switch :thumb:. Have a look at the TGA Breeze 1V its like a garden tractor, almost indestructible and very, very stable.

many many years! since I was a kid
better still speak to a specialist mobility scooter technician and get him to adjust the controller board on the scooter. you can slow it down and reduce acceleration speed all with the use of a computer plugged into the board. I get mine tweaked the other way, to give better power and acceleration.

the wife has a smaller scooter that breaks down to easily put in the boot of a car and its stable as a rock. they are deliberately detuned to keep them safe on pavements
