This place grows on us by the day!!!

Loads of different walks and is a maze of off road cycle paths! :thumb:

Rode our bikes to Chateau D'Oleron today the cloud in the photos only lasted an hour and then clear blue skies and about 25 degrees tho the breeze was cool in the cloudy bit as you can see by Steph's jacket.

No we are staying at the campsite at Le Maine. 16euro a night (7 for 6) 10 amp leckie and free wi fi. It is in the ACSI book.
I would say a max of 8 mtrs.

The motorhomes you see in the pic are on a car park, be careful as on the island there are many car parks where motorhomes can park but NOT overnight!!!

We had a few days on the island at the end of last summer. Very nice place. We will go back.

Curiously, despite being France's second largest island it isn't mentioned at all in the Lonely Planet guide.

25 Degrees, I knew we had left France too soon it struggled to get much past 10 degrees today in Todmorden. Having been away for almost 8 months we have lost our extra layer of skin that one grows when living here permanently

If you touch and hold the nought when the numbers are showing you will get the degree sign, just slide up on to it to select it. The same with things like the euro sign, just hold £ and you see €. :thumb:
