We both got off early yesterday and off we went. Within an hour we were feet up, glass in hand, a wonderful quick meal put together and watched a beautiful sunset over the sea, while the evening air slowly went chilly.
Took dog for his walk then settled down for the night. Woke without the alarm to the smell of fresh cut grass and warm crumpets.

I don't care what any government does or spews out - beat this rich boys.

Totally chilled, Trikeman.:winky:

Where are you? I would love to know of a convenient site with sea views.

That's what it's all about, one of my favourite quickies, sea view, tin of Lidl Chilli, boil in the bag rice, bottle of red wine, sorted,

Now you have made me get itchy wheels

Hi catspyjamas,
we spent the first evening on Sea View, Brean (no way of booking we just went there and asked - no problems said the old guy, as he tickled my fiver) Its right up the far right hand side as you look out to sea, nearly at the base of Brean Down and the parrot gardens, overlooking the sea and steepholm. When it got a bit 'stormy' we dropped back into Warren Farm for Sat/Sun - we got home a little earlier. The weather (except for Friday afternoon/evening which was superb) wasn't too kind to us,,,,,,, But did it matter????? Nope, not at all, it was a well earned break and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
:winky:
We did sink a little on the grass pitch but got away. :roflmto:

Cracking Weekend and what this is all about.:thumb::thumb:

Regards,

Trikeman. :winky:

Damage Barton not far from you........Takes C.Club and C.C.Club but the latter have the best pitches, :thumb:

Yep, Damage Barton Farm - fantastic for views, walks, the little pub in Mortehoe, and the beach in Woolacombe. Been twice, once the views were as spectacular as those on their website, the next it was so foggy for three days we used string to find our way to the showers and back - one missed turn and we may have still been on the moors today, and not seen wind like it for many years.
Your other point is true too, we are with CCC and we have, both times, had cracking pitches, one with splendid views and the next - we would have had if it weren't for the fog.
:roflmto:

Regards,

Trikeman. :winky:
