Suggestions for pitches in Ardnamurchan (1 Viewer)

Just about anywhere you chose to stop, its all pretty remote!

we drove right out to the lighthouse, so have officially stood on the most westerly point of UK mainland

As said above apart from maybe 50 residents (slight exaggeration maybe)you will be on your own, I found a good car park roughly half way out but can't give specific details due to memory!!

That was where I saw my first golden eagle - came over the hill towards us - very close spectacular sight, keep your eyes peeled.

I went there in 2012 following internet links to a Golden Eagle viewing area, only to find it closed in 2008!! oh:

Worth waiting for though, I had to wait till a trip to Lewis for a decent view

The campsite at Resipole is OK, I have stayed there several times. www.resipole.co.UK
There is also this place. http://www.ardnamurchanstudycentre.co.uk but it is not open for another week or so.
