That's a good price for a full sevice Mo :thumb:.... what chassis and engine do you have?

Al-Ko AMC Tag axle..

3 litre 190 HP Fiat... (I think).. coupled to a 6 speed semi auto box.. :RollEyes:::bigsmile:

And none of that means diddly squat to me.... :ROFLMAO:

Unless they have changed the engine since our 2010 3.0l, I don't think you have a cam belt to change as it is chain driven cam.

Thanks.... never to old to learn... :Sad:

I should sit and read the manual.... :Doh:

I thought all modern engines had cam belts...

As an after thought,,, reading Mikey RV`s reply, I automatically thought I would have had the same as his Burstner.. :Cool:

It not just the mileage with cam belts it's the age of them. If there 4 years old they need changing, my mileage is only 20k but it's four years old this September so it's peace of mind for me to get it done. Be interesting what other peaple think. :thumb:

Mo, don't take my word for it, although my engine is also 3l it is only 160BHP
so could be different to your 190BHP.

Maybe one of our experts will come up with the definitive answer.

Yes you are correct. Cam belts are changed on mileage or time, which ever is reached first.
It will be different on every engine. My Land Rover 300tdi is 70,000 miles or 7 years. I am changing it this month because I have lost my service record (bit of paper) and can not remember the last time I did it.:Doh:

Had a read of the manual.... :RollEyes::thumb:

As far as I can see it is a 2,999cc engine with an HP of 180... common rail engine... :Cool:

And I have got a Timing Belt,,, which has to be changed every 4 years or 5 with limited use.. :Doh:

So I am normal.... :RollEyes::ROFLMAO:

PS.... please watch your return comments,,,, I know a very good solicitor who happens to be a good friend and a L.T.M to boot...
