Hi we have a truma water heater in our new to us
Moterhome hymer b564 1996 which is not working we have no power to it no lights
on the control panel on the wall above checked fuses psb board all ok
when tanks filled immediately start emptying
unable to keep yellow switch down to stop water
cannot find electric feed also no power to extractor fan
and two lights untill engine started mains lead working okplugged in
this is on rhs of van electric step and fridge ok
also all on rhs if anyone can understand my garbled message any advice please
we have warrenty but think some of the problems are our mistake thank you

many many years! since I was a kid
sounds more like a blown fuse or loose wire in the supply cable. trace the wire back from the controller and see if there is one fitted inline if none on the distribution panel have failed. check them with a meter rather than just look at them

Hi, don't know if this is any good, but maybe it has dumped all its water because of freezing as automatically dumps when it reaches 2 degrees just above freezing so as not to damage tank by freezing contents, can you pull up the yellow knob and if it still goes back down again put a clothes peg under it to stop it going down again, maybe this cuts off all electrics to stop it working when empty???????????????? just a thought, Regards Garry Flatpackchicken

My Truma is a different model but the automatic dump valve opens at 8c which is not even very cold, so at this time of year it may well open.
