It was very expensive when I went there about 10 years ago.

A bit artificial as well.

It is owned by the same people as Alton Towers etc, and it shows.

Personally I would give it a miss.

We went to Warwick Castle, whilst we were staying at the Racecourse site, about 7 or 8 years ago because Jill had wanted to go for a while. It wasn't cheap but I don't recall it being too expensive compared to some places. If I remember correctly we got discount vouchers from the caravan site.

It is a bit plastic but the trebuchet was a laugh to watch.

Better value than anything English Heritage manages - but that may be my prejudice born of experience of working with them ::bigsmile:

No idea about the castle - but the racecourse CC site is in a superb position for the town - plenty of shops pubs and restaurants, a spoons and a fab eat as much as u like Chinese ! Went there in November - and will be back there on Sunday for 4 nights:thumb:
