A note pad and 2 pens to write down everything you'll need or have forgotten.
Kettle, tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, mugs, some water to kick off with.
Or if you can, park on your property and live in it, then everything is on hand.

Awww that takes the fun out of it....our first run out we started laughing about a couple of miles from home after suddenly realising the things we'd forgotten in our excitement to get away.....knives, fork, spoons etc.

Have a great time in your new MH Soozywoozy...:thumb::thumb:

Great, I can almost see the smile on your face from here, make the day go your way, ask questions, any random ones that come in to your head, make notes before you go, in the excitement there is usually something that gets forgotten.

Most of all enjoy your day. :thumb:

Congratulations!

Bin there; know what it feels like!

Here's my top tips after collecting the MH or for the inaugural run:-

  • Remember that height, width and other road restrictions suddenly come in to play (as do over-hanging trees!!)
  • When you DO manage to prise yourself away from looking at the new toy, go down to the Pound Shop and buy a couple of rolls of anti-slip matting. Cut and stuff some wherever there's a rattle (and believe me, it will rattle like skeletons in a biscuit tin!). Then, cut some more pieces and put it under anything that you don't want sliding around.
Not that you're reading this, you're too busy playing Motorhomes! ::bigsmile:

Thank you all for good wishes and as you can imagine a little occupied for the last few days setting up and working (alas a necessary evil) and so watch out for the posts of......how do you do this, how do you do that, etc. collection had a few surprises, some good, some problematic, but being resolved so that's the important thing.
getting away this weekend, weathers looking good and then heading off to the Black Forest in 2 weeks time
The adventure has begun....:roflmto:::bigsmile:
