Harrogate Motorhome Show This Weekend (1 Viewer)

I was speaking to one of the Warners staff over the weekend and promised to mention their Harrowgate Show. It is a day visitor show only so there is no overnight camping, but it is really Broken Link Removed and looks to be a big event and well worth paying a visit. I might get over as my plans to day visit Newark were scupperd by my daughter ringing me at sleep o/clock to tell me my car had a pucture and could I go to the rescue. ( she had brorrowed it and curbed the front tyre) two new tyres later

There will be a lot more traders at this show than at Newark according to the Warners website so well worth a visit.
Dont forget a lot of Harrogate is free parking, you need a cardboard clock and set your arrival time. The clocks are available for free in most shops.

BTW there is lots of local camping available, just look at the google map.

I live 10 miles away and my van will be at the show so if anyone needs a pitch for the night my drive is available.

I fancy a trip down on the saturday and am trying to book a night on the campsite that the link takes you too. says it opens that wk end. does anyone know how far it is from the showground. ta andy

It's actually adjacent to the Showground - former Caravan Club site I believe. Day visitors will drive past it on the way to the car parks.

We are going on Friday, we will be visiting the Timberland stand. We ordered our van at the NEC last year for delivery for the new registration on March 1st. As they are unable to afford to buy it from Burstner, they asked if we would pay ' up front for it' , we said no, especially with their financial history. We are still waiting for them to be able to afford to buy it from Germany, this has messed up our plans for this spring. Shouldn't buying a new vehicle be a pleasant experiance...????, they have a deposit so I am unable to tell them what I think....

Could you give them a firm time limit and then get your deposit back? I think a visit to a solicitor / citizens advice would be a good starting point. From what I remember of my (brief) legal studies the key phase is "time is now of the essence" but please, please check this out and make sure everything is conformed in writing.

we have over night there many times if you arrive late and get the parking ticket it starts at 6am the next day till 1800hrs been there many times
but if you have to park on mane car park you will need your ramps it sloops a bit
never had a problem there :thumb:
