nowhere near long enough
Just thought it may help some soap fanatics thinking of travelling down

All the time in Spain and Portugal we could get most of the paid for Sky tele. with our 80/85 cm dish but not any of the BBC and ITV channels.

We turned the corner this week and stayed at Soustons Plage ( where we met up with Mel and Chris (Heyupluv)) and we could almost get BBC1. Now we have moved up to my sisters which is about 20 miles south of Bergerac and normal service has been resumed with a suberb signal strength.

The moral being if you are addicted to soaps then stay north of Bergerac ish or bring a huge dish

good point , reception seems slightly better towards the west

but how far south is the only factor as reception doesn't get weaker on an exact line , there are lobes eg barcelona now needs about a 1.6 metre dish but further south in javea a 1 metre didh will just do the job!

Some ITV available on an 85cm Oyster Dish and FTA box at Torevieja. We had it when there was no cloud or rain. Moved up to Pueblo de Valverdi and it was hit and miss. Sometimes it was there other times it was pixelated.

Lost it around Teruel and nothing at all at Olite.

We are at Capbreton today and all channels are receivable.
