Just thought it may help some soap fanatics thinking of travelling down
All the time in Spain and Portugal we could get most of the paid for Sky tele. with our 80/85 cm dish but not any of the BBC and ITV channels.
We turned the corner this week and stayed at Soustons Plage ( where we met up with Mel and Chris (Heyupluv)) and we could almost get BBC1. Now we have moved up to my sisters which is about 20 miles south of Bergerac and normal service has been resumed with a suberb signal strength.
The moral being if you are addicted to soaps then stay north of Bergerac ish or bring a huge dish
