Hi all, we're planning to spend a couple of months next winter in Southern Spain. I know it's going to vary a lot in price according to facilities etc', but what sort of nightly cost should I budget for?
Cheers
David

Campsite costs are what I'm trying to get an idea of.

For the Benidorm area, for a two month period on the one site, around 16-18 Euro's per day in Benidorm and about 2-4 Euro's cheaper either side of Benidorm. Lecce and WiFi will be extra.
Good transport links into Benidorm.

We stayed at Marjal with a Funsters discount code provided by the excellent Mr Motorhome. (Many thanks sir) I think it was €16 a day including an entry to the spa, which would otherwise have cost about €5. We paid a little more for a short stay at La Manga on the CCC Rally but that was inflated by a booking fee ( avoidable in some circumstances.)
The longer you stay the cheaper it becomes, the aire in a Calpe was €8 for stats of over 31 days. Overall we found it very good value. We spent about£100 a week more than we would have spent at home including much more eating out and the odd bottle of wine or two...

We have been on La Toretta in the centre of the Rincon in Benidorm since November. Had great weather, and thats why we have not moved. The cost including 15 amp electric, UK TV, etc is 15 Euros per day for stays of over 30 days. Good wifi is 20 Euros per month extra. The gas has been switched off since we arrived as we are all electric when on site. You will get cheaper camping in Spain, but the weather will not be so good as Benidorm and the cost of living will be higher. It all comes down to what you require. We tend to eat out quite a lot and we have an excellent selection of restaurants here at a reasonable price. Benidorm has been very busy this year, and there seems to be a shortage of pitches, perhaps due to many coming back up from bad weather down south, so if you are thinking of coming down for this winter, dont leave it much after October if you want a sunny pitch.

We stay at Camping Cabopino near Marbella & Fuengirola for the whole winter. Its warm & there is loads to do.

The campsite has two restaurants and a full ents programme plus 2 swimming pools.

We pay €13.10 per night including electricity. ( we get 5% discount for cash) There are 300 large pitches with shade if you need it.

Lidl & Mercadona abound. Our living costs here are half that at home.

Good Wi-Fi at €1 per day
