Just saying hello and also warning you to be prepaired for the barage of questions.

After my wife Lynn hired a motorhome for a long weekend back in April,we decided to take the plunge.Hopfully it will give us more quality time as a family and let us do what we love best, travelling and sightseeing.

Any advice on good sights would be welcome. We have two kids 7 and 3.

Thanks in advance:thumb:

Hiya Ian and Lynn and Welcome :thumb:

RV means Recreational Vehicle which really can cover a multitude of vehicles.

The Americans adopted the term for their motorhomes.

Congratulations on taking the plunge and enjoy.

We have taken the kids to Kessingland a couple of times and they love it there.

Hi Ian & Lynn and welcome to the site.

The term "RV" was coined in the USA to describe any recreational vehicle related to camping, not just motorhomes.
A full lowdown of such vehicles can be seen Link Removed

It was the English who have adopted it to refer to American motorhomes.
Hope this helps

Congratulations on taking the plunge, enjoy your travels ::bigsmile:
