I have just fitted a new single Gasit bottle and in-locker filling system (see my other post about it).
Anyway silly question before I fill it up. When filling up with LPG do you keep the bottle tap open or closed? Or doesn't it matter at all?
If it fills thru a separate valve that shuts at 80%, then it shouldn't matter, but better closed I would have thought.

The internal float operates a metal rod. The position of the rod is read by the guage magnetically.
Many people say the guage is rubbish BUT that is because they don't read the instructions to understand it.

I suspect the Gaslow and Gasit cylinders are made in exactly the same factory to exactly the same standards; just different paint used
