Please let everyone know the deal you got...........

Just booked Dover Dunkirk return with DFDS last week of May for £108. Paid by Paypal no charges. Although you can use your Tesco points for this crossing we're saving them for the tunnel in July
I thought the price was pretty good for motorhomes up to 10 metres

EDIT
I chose midnight Friday as we travel from Leeds after work and
08:00 Saturday return both £54

Haven't done as well as you
Eurotunnel 180 at Easter and again in August, both evening crossings, and Sunday evening returns.
Alas both peak times, but there were very few august slots left when I booked a couple of weeks ago, and those that were , were even more expensive

Last year of being tied to school holidays, so ask me again next year and might have another answer.
Best ferry quote was £280 (7.4metre)

DFDS cannot be beaten on price if sailing Calais or Dunkirk as long as you book well in advance, are prepared to sail at an inconvenient time, and preferably midweek. I no longer check any of the others, even with the offers they keep sending me they cannot come anywhere near DFDS prices with a 7 metre van and trailer.

Hi Techno,

I have copied and pasted this from the DFDS/TESCO web page,

Caravans and motor homes can only be taken on the Newcastle to Amsterdam crossing.

Can you confirm if you know something different as I will getting my summer crossing courtesy of Tesco if you do!

Thanks in advance

Jim

Having re read it I see what you mean! so I could not have used my tokens anyway which is just as well as we only have £150 which will go towards July.
It may well be that this might change before you go

I agree, last year with NEC code I paid £34 each way, 31st July and return 30th Aug lunch-times.
Bit more this year but any week day next week at 2am £29 !
Other random dates, 25th June, daytime £43 to £49.
30th July, £54 all quotes based on up to 10 metres !
No fixed date yet for this year but 2 am crossing is ok, travel to Dover at night (M25 and Dartford will be quiet), cheap crossing, park up, switch off, go to bed, that's what MHs are for!

OOPS actually it was £325 a bit higher because of school holidays, last November it was £270 always with 7 camping cheques though so effectively about £200.

Sorry for the confusion.

Dover-Calais Return with P&O ferries booked in January via the CCC

April £112 (£56 each way)

Sep-Oct £94 (£47 each way)

Plus CCC membership fee.

At the time of booking P&O were cheaper than the Tunnel and myferrywhatsit (ex Sea France) but maybe I need to re-think my strategy next year.
