Hi, anyone removed the habitation inner door (plastic bit) on a Hymer? If so would you give some guidance.

I have, ie, the style shown in the photo below. You have to remove the handle and door opening lever first. The leading edges sit in a groove on the door itself, and have to be squeezed slightly before gently sliding out. I have also removed the plastic inner cover on the driver's door, in much the same manner.

Please be very careful, as the plastic does become brittle over the years, and the older the model, the harder it is to find replacement trims.

Just don't be in a rush, and I'm sure you'll get the panel off in one piece. Don't force anything, and if in doubt................bale out. :winky:
