Getting better
Some advice would be appreciated regarding spare tyres.
Our MH is on a transit chassis with twin rear wheels,all good stuff. Ford provide a 'toy town' jack and a wheel brace (mainly for those of us built like a brick sh*t house) so far so good, but there is no spare wheel or obvious space for a spare.
So do I
1.source a spare from a scrap yard and store it in an under seat locker,
2.buy a can of puncture spray (not my favourite product) or
3.drive around like a HGV and call out a tyre specialist in the unlikely event of a puncture.
What do others do.?::bigsmile:

did my motorhome for less than £40 in the time it takes to jack each wheel ( independently ) let the tyres down and reinflate to correct pressures simple to DIY.:thumb:

If you call out for a tyre on the motorway you will wish you had a spare when they tell you how much they want

i did this for 2 reasons:-

1. dont want punctures!!!!
2. could not afford 20 - 40 kgs aff my payload.

its as individual a choice as choosing your van.

I have put this (or equivilant) in my tyres for years. I have no spare or anywhere to put one.
