i would be more worried if she couldnt reach the brake pedal. :Eeek::roflmto:

Maybe a visit to a motability shop would get results.....all kinds of gadgets and gismo's for less abled drivers.

Used to be a tanker driver locally who had short legs shall we say and had blocks of wood added to all pedals
Health & safety !!! Often wondered if the insurance Co knew about the modifications

many many years! since I was a kid
an excellent firm with superb knowledge and adaptions

http://www.alfredbekker.co.uk/driving-aids/pedal-extensions/

the pedal extenders swing up out of the way when not needed for taller drivers

whatever you do, dont try taping blocks of wood to the pedals as ive seen other people try. the glue fails and the blocks slip which is potentially deadly

free to motability, the government backed disability organisation that leases cars to the disabled (The government pays the cost of the adaption). the cost of £69 each is not at all bad for what they actually do and they are insurance company approved. if it were a fiat or other manufacturer option, it would cost hundreds

Motorhomed for almost 7 years - now going nowhere!
The driver's seat on our Autotrail is so adjustable that it can actually be tipped forward so that I can reach the clutch pedal. Makes a big difference.
