My missus has dropped a blob of red nail polish on her white jeans ! Is there anything that will remove nail polish?
And before you comment Mo, it's NOT my nail polish!:Tongue1:

Cut it out, then fray, all the rage with some:Smile:

If you use ACETONE nail polish remover the stain will only spread, we found that out the hard way:Sad:

Hmmm, anything you use on them is likely to cause the polish to spread making more of a mess, unfortunately I doubt it you can remove it without leaving a trace of some sort.

I've had a google and came up with an unusual one though, using Avon 'bug' spray apparently could help!

Or even hairspray!

Same thing happened to my wife's mother. Told her my blowlamp would do the job. Got through three gas cartridges, but she still wouldn't burn.
Best chance I ever had........:winky:

As many made made fibres disintegrate when acetate is used on them, how about putting a couple of sparkly bead things on the blob ( held in place with a further we dab of the same varnish )

Simple, no risk of damage and at the moment quite fashionable

Depends where the blob is, of course. . . been in similar situations with jeans and sweaters. Buy small embroidered symbolly thing ... eg. a smiley.... and iron/sew it over the blob.

Failing that buy a big bottle of red nail varnish and make other blobs around it into a pattern.... The trend for this coming spring is slashed jeans at the knees so if on the knees problem solved.

Buy her a new pair,,,,,, tight sod....:ROFLMAO:

A new pair? I don't think so! I have only just bought these for her, well, when i say only just, i mean about seventeen years ago.
I mentioned cutting the legs off above the 'blob', but as it's near the groin, there willn't be much left.

Since May 05 (Ex Tuggers).
It'll depend if the polish has soaked in to the material.
Try shoving the jeans in the freezer for a couple of hours, then when the nail polish is frozen, it may come off in one lump, with the aid of a blunt edged knife. Works a treat on chewing gum. :winky:

Cheers,

Jock.

Aha! A sensible answer! Too late, it has spread trying to get it off, but, i will shove her in the freezer soon, and see what happens.
