we had no trouble filling up in France or Portugal with the adaptors sold to us with the Gaslow bottles but our first fill up here in Spain is a problem.
The lady at the fuel station even tried her adaptors but with no joy.
What's the alternative?
We can't fit a repsol
Spanish bottle in as well as the Gaslow.
We have hit a problem.
Any suggestions please?
The adaptor we have says it's a Spanish/ European adaptor so we assumed it would fit the Spanish filling nozzle.

They may only have the Spanish bayonet adapter .. not the new Euro nozzle..

At Totana (garage on way out of town) in Murcia and at the outskirts of Lorca (caravan shop) that is the adapter we used with no problems. It is the one being fitted to all new outlets (we were told).

Totana...

Co ordinates from Google are........ 37 degrees 44'41.67 N
1 degree 31'05.21W

From Murcia follow the N340a through Totana (easy even for an RV) not the by pass!!!
As you leave town there is a large Consum supermarket on your left, park on access road no problem.
Turn left out of supermarket (or carry on past it ) you will see some car dealers on your right, Pass the big Merc dealer and look for the Opel sign.
Turn in immediately before and drive down the road between the buildings. LPG is on your left.
As I say they fill you and you MUST have an external filling point.
They have adapters but it is the new "bullet" euro one.

On leaving turn right and you are led down to the A7 motorway.

Hope this is of use

Or as Martin from camperstop pointed out to me
"regarding the GPL depot in Totana, well anybody travelling North to South on the A7 motorway and not using the Camperstop in Totana or have no reason to visit Totana should in my opinion, for what its worth exit the A7 at jct 612 Totana south, then travel just a short way back along the 340 in the direction of Totana, which makes the Opel garage on the left. Simple." :thumb:

Thanks for that but that was the one we used yesterday and the nozzle wouldn't fit our adaptor nor would theirs.

Last time I filled up at Alicante (Repsol Depot) there were 2 pumps the first one used the UK adaptor the other one used the Euro adaptor.
