Seeing the thread on Morocco about the weather I thought I would start a similar thread for Portugal (seeing as I'm going there next week) ::bigsmile:

Could you say it as it is please?

It's dry and warm where I am at the moment.

Must turn the thermostat down.

We are here in Quarteria, Portugal very windy and wet last night, back to Sun today need a coat to walk any where but nice to sit out of the wind and sunbathe.
Around 17c.
Glad we came here, still getting bitten by mozzies must be fairly warm eh?
Not so often now though as early November.

nowhere near long enough
No mozzies whatsoever at Paderne and as I speak the weather has improved with clear skies after three days rain showers. I can honestly say that sunbathing is off the list though as it is still a bit chilly. Next weeks forecast is good though

February 2013.
The weather here is quite mixed. Lots of rain recently but last few days have been dry. At the moment quite a wind which is chilly. Outlook is quite good. Average day time 13 to 15 but feels and is colder in the evening. Just spent 3 days in Lisbon was quite comfortable but lacking in sunshine.

Long term forecast for south Portugal is mostly dry but not warm - but still a lot warmer than it is going to be in the UK where single figure temps are the best we can expect and chilly whatnots more likely.

Just had a look at 5 day forecast and it's supposed to 20 degrees tomorrow where we are in the Algarve. Yippee

Nigel and Pamala

Which web site you got that off Nigel? Mine says in Portimao and along the Algarve it's going to be 14° and showers. :Eeek:
