No need to book. Just turn up, pay the fee to park and in you go. Find a space and park up. It literally is a car park. Your fee covers you for one night.
If you are staying a while and using the parks then a annual pass is great as you get free parking with the right type of annual pass

It depends on the time of year.
There is a waste point and a number of fresh water taps, but these are generally turned off during the cold months.
Saying that when we went for new year the drive over waste point and fresh water at this location were all still on.

When are you planning to go?

Looking at going late February ::bigsmile:

No worries.

So at that time of year you should plan that the services will be shut off. There is a shower block that you can use (it's for coach drivers but they allow others to use it). Now there might not be hot water there, but there will be a sink with a cold water tap to top up your tank using a watering can or similar.

I understand it is now €30 a night for parking...
We arrived late and stayed outside the gates, no problems...

I understand it is now €30 [HI]a night[/HI] for parking...

That is correct, it has gone up considerable since we were there in Jan 08 when it was €10 ..

but a small correction.. be aware.. it is €30 per day.. not per night.. which means you can be charged €60 if you arrive say in the afternoon and leave the following afternoon ..

When we we visited there was no fresh water or dumping and access to the coach driver facilities was locked...

It is a car park that you are allowed to stay overnight, not a camp site or aire.

A few years now
Is there a walkway to the park so as if we went there we could come back each night directly to use the MH then back in the next day.

If we stayed for x 3 days /nights would it be cheaper to buy a annual ticket or pay daily-- we are x2 adults and x2 under 6

It is a you one to plan for.
Hit and miss.
Every time we have been at least one of the door to the coach block have been open.
When we went new year the dumping point was open too, although this is the first time it has been during the winter months.

As has been said it is a car park at the end of the day.

There is a petrol station on the way out. This has a motorhome service point where you pay for a certain length of time to use electric, water, empty waste etc. maybe someone else could shed some light on whether this will be open in feb.....we know its there but have never needed to use it.

It`s going to have to be in the school hols time as we have x2 little ones.
Probably when the price sky rockets :Eeek:

From our experience there's no difference price wise when taking the van...prices rocket if you stay in a hotel though!
The biggest difference is the park is far busier!
Which school hols? As in feb, Easter, may, summer??

It's also worth checking park opening times and any planned ride closures for the days you're going to be there ...

We have used the car park several times and the last time we used it several Motorhomes had parked up for the night in the lyby just before the gate then drove on next morning to save them paying when arriving late. So if your not going into park until next day might be an idea to turn up later and park up for the night.

We were there in late September and the petrol station outside the parking which was supposed to have a motorhome service point was out of action. From talking with the attendant it had not been working for a while and didnt seem a priority to fix.

There are drive over dump facilities around by the Coach park and i believe in the line of trees either behind or alongside there is a water tap.

Plenty of parking in late September.
