Thought it might prove interesting to see who is getting a FTA reception for:

BBC1 and ITV only and from where outside of the UK in their motor homes.
Dish Size: 90cm - LNB at 7 0 clock
Astra 28.2 January 2014

I was surprised with the following:

Benidorm - Spain
Manilva (Malaga) Spain
Asilah, Morocco
Mohommedia, Morocco
Marrakech, Morocco

Not really surprising when most of the "terrestrial" channels are currently on a temporary satellite - Astra 1N - with beams not designed for the UK TV slot.

But this is expected to change in the next few weeks anyway, when the 1N channels move to the second new UK TV satellite - 2E - which has beams designed for UK TV.

So, if 2E is like 2F, then maybe the Benidorm reading may just about be fine / borderline reception, but in all the other areas the dish will probably be way too small to receive the channels. 2F's uk beam (carrying C4HD, and the fives, and some ITV1 regions) in Malaga area requires at least a 1.8m dish (IIRC)

Thanks, my post is about who is receiving BBC or ITV - NOW and from which COUNTRY.

From what I understand no one knows what to expect in the future .......

OK for all regions in Almerimar (Guardias Viejas) on BBC & ITV but when weather is bad all but Channel Islands disappear.

85cm Oyster dish and HD FTA box.

Lost Ch5 mid France.

Sky pay channels will probably be like they are today - spread over the various beams over the 4 satellites - so channels will have various reception depending on location, time of day and dish size.... just like today...where I can receive some sky channels on a sky minidish here, but others require a 1.8m min.
