fiat courtesy lights (1 Viewer)

anyone have any idea if/how to stop courtesy lights going off after 10 mins or so. obviously, originally to save you leaving them on and draining the battery but I would just like them to stay on when required.

Don't you just slide the switch to 'on' rather than the 'door open' setting ?

Yes but they then go off after about 10-15 minutes.Most irritating! I'm hoping its a simple job like a relay somewhere like its ever easy! but with my luck I will have to have the engine management doodah reprogrammed or something equally expensive

after some intense googling I have discovered that Fiat's (and others?) have a battery saver system that shuts everything off after 15 minutes. All I've got to do now is find the damn thing

its all built into the ecu body control module. you could maybe change it with the fiat computer at a dealers but i doubt it

rewire the delay live feed to the lights to a permanant feed
