Note to self - be more patient when waiting for the red cabbage to cool down, especially when cooked in the pressure cooker :Doh:

I now have a pink polka dot kitchen :cry:

No pictures, luckily the kitchen is painted in Kitchen and Bathroom paint so most of it cleaned off, except some on the ceiling, the cooker hood got most of it! Oh and me, I got my fair share too!

The cabbage was lovely though, cooked with a good dollop of branston pickle, an apple, generous glug of orange juice and another glug of balsamic vinegar, cook in pressure cooker for about 20 mins, reduce down by spraying access liquid around kitchen and enjoy!

If you have any of the red cabbage left over, uncooked that is, use it to make coleslaw, then you can have some pink coleslaw to match the polka dots!!!! :thumb:

Made the mistake of adding tinned potatoes to a curry. They explode when heated in a pressure cooker. Have pretty yellow spots on ceiling.:Eeek:
