I have lost/had stolen one of my wheel trims.

Does anyone know where I can buy some 'reasonable priced' trims, wheel size R16..

I'm also interested in this - I had some cash for Crimbo and may invest in a set for my girl.

There are some really nice ones about, just I'm not too sure they could take the 'bulge' in the wheel - not really 'into' the bulgy, chrome ones like seen on taxis. Some photos fitted would be good too.

Search for 16" ducato wheel trims on eBay. Several there similar to the ones which are sold at shows. You do need van ones though not car ones as they are a different shape to take the bulge of the wheel (as mentioned by Trikeman).

The genuine Fiat 16" I linked to above are held captive on the wheel by 1 of the five wheel bolts so not easy to pinch unless equiped:thumb:

Actually wrong on that. Held captive by four of the five bolts!

To clarify
One bolt firstly secures the wheel on the hub, you then fit the wheel trim in place and fit the other four bolts. The holes are precisely tapered so the bolts don't trap/crush the plastic but do secure the trim and hold the wheel on.

I believe that before the x250 that the tyre valve is in line with a wheel bolt but later falls in between two wheel bolts

ahhh ..I wondered how they cam off ...thought all 5 held the trim captive. So you can leave 1 bolt on and remove the trim? I ask because it's not that easy to get my pressure gauge in with the trim on. How do you know what one is the non captive bolt?

Fit nicely. I did lose one 2 years because the tyre fitter damaged the lugs. I now use tie wraps.

Just had a shuftie at his site and the seat covers he does are very good - the arm covers at £6 a pair are extremely good value - I was thinking of making some for our camper but at that price I might just splash the cash and save myself a job!!! (y)

I have a set of 4 new never fitted genuine Fiat 16" wheel trims for sale. I purchased them a couple of months ago to put on a set of 16" wheels I bought for my MH. Unfortunately wheels didn't fit due to different stud spacing. I sold the wheels on but have the trims still boxed.
These trims are the 2007 onwards and are held in place by 4 of the 5 studs. I don't have a picture fitted but these are the trims £40 collect or plus cost of courier.
