absolutely, But I love to know where you can get a new one for under £37.00??????????

Look again at the John Cross website. The Bullfinch tail connector (which is what the OP wants) is £8.99 before Funster discount - second item down on the page linked to above by John745. Looks like a good deal to me!

If you need the entire fitting of gas point and plug-in connector it's £34.99

if, when you get a tail, you havent used that type before it will only turn one way....from memory its clockwise but could be wrong.

push in and 1/4 turn...do not force it.

theres a major difference between the bullfinch and the gemini though.

the valve in the gemini is simply a spring loaded ball bearing pressing on a rubber O ring.
push in the plug to release the ball bearing and allow gas to flow.
any dirt or grit on the ball and it wont seal when the plug is removed.

the bullfinch uses a rotating ball which, when the plug is turned, opens the gas in the same way a washing machine tap works.
any dirt is wiped from the seal by the rotating action of the ball as the ball is in constant contact with the seal.
