Hi Snoozy, welcome to the fun house! ::bigsmile:

How long have you spent at any one time in the MH? A few weeks is a LOT different to a few months.

Motorhomed for almost 7 years - now going nowhere!
Welcome
We have only been motorhomers for a year. Have been to quite a few rallies, met many of the folks who post on here, but have yet to go very far. Hoping to go to Scotland this year.

Hi and welcome to FUN, you will soon find out that this site is the best for any and all questions you may have and is VERY addictive, hence me sitting in 28% heat on holiday in New Zealand but on line, again my wife just said. :thumb:

in your opinion

Yes. In my opinion.

We have nothing to compare to the Rhein and Moselle.

We have nothing to compare to Chamonix.

We have nothing to compare to Lake Garda.

We have nothing to compare to Luzern.

You can compare Blackpool to Benidorm, but Blackpool looses rather badly.

The debate over whether the UK beats the continent may rumble on. I think they both have plenty to offer. However I would say that I think that the pro motorhome attitude on the continent vs the anti motorhome attitude here means it is so much easier across the chanel. :thumb:

Hello and welcome.

Nobody knows how being in the van longer than your annual 2 week holiday is going to suit you, until you do it. As for the UK v Europe debate both have great places to visit. Can't wait until we have more time to explore.

Wherever you go I am sure you will have a great time and there is always help and advise available on here if you need it.

What a lovely amount of time to explore, you'll love that. UK some wonderful places, especially West Wales so don't miss that !! However, UK just seem to make it so difficult for motorhomes/campervans compared to the continent. Maybe you could split between the two. Welcome by the way

Welcome to the Fun.
As you will have found out we all have our own opinions.
We get two months off every winter. We have spent time both here and abroad.
Both have their benefits and pitfalls. The beauty for you is that you will be able to stay as long as suits you before you move on to explore new areas.
We must have one of the greatest diverse and historical countries in the world.
Millions of tourists come here.
Enjoy wherever you choose to go and hopefully we will see you at some of the fun meets.:thumb:
