Hi and welcome to Fun, I've got a Laika Ecovip 7r. I think the best place might be the internet, whenever I have a problem I google it, 9 times out of 10 I get the answer. :thumb:

OK.

First get a torch, the modern LED ones are awesome and the batteries last for ever.

Sit on toilet, defecate. Use the torch to find toilet paper and wipe. Wash your hands.

How hard is that ?

The Marine toilet on ours is the only thing I would change (apart from the jerky cruise control). Ours has a 17ltr top tank which, on pulling a lever, can be be dropped into a bigger 50? ltr holding tank which can then be emptied either by parking over a suitable manhole or by using the 17ltr cassette supplied.
In practice we just drop one top tank full at a time and empty it into the cassette to save any possible overspill as its difficult (for me) to tell when the cassette is full.

Hi Dai and Jacky, I've looked for a manual/handbook for your motorhome but had no joy. However all motorhomes, pretty much use the same kit in the same way. I'm sure specific questions, will get you some answers.

Marine toilets are rare on Europeans,so most here will have no experience with them. I've used them on American RVs but I'm sure they are very different. So you may have to experiment with it, though do make sure the out-pipe is in a manhole before you pull or push any handles. Best of luck. If you do get covered in crap, do tell us, and remember a picture is worth a thousand words:Smile:

Meanwhile welcome to the fun:thumb:

Marine toilets

This is nothing to do with motorhomes but I just thought some marine types might like this tale , Back in the early 1970s part of my work was to load barges with oils, fats, for margarine /soap / cooking oil etc. and once when loading a Lever bros. tank barge from a big west african ships deep tanks, suddenly there was a roar from 50 feet below and when I looked over the ships side I could see a stream of raw sewage (crap) going directly into the living accomodation at the bow of the barge 20 seconds later a very angry and stinky barge skipper climbed up the jacobs ladder and stood screaming abuse at me I directed him to the chief officers cabin 2 minutes later I saw an AB seaman tying a board over the discharge port, which should have been there in the first place as a diverter then out came the barge skipper carrying a peace offer a carton of beer he still had a large turd stuck to the side of his head:whatthe: the rest of the barge crew who had to clean up the mess were not amused as there were 4 bunks and the cooking range and all their clothes down there how unlucky was that to position the bow directly under the discharge for the toilet .especially as they were cooking a full english at the time
