I have Gaslow and I was wondering is the following is possible.

Lets say that you were in Spain and you can get a Spanish Gas bottle, add a connector to it, connect that to the Gaslow Filler, job done?
No need to unplug your hoses, no need to mess with anything, the gas would come through the van's regulator...

Thoughts?

Don't forget to leave one bottle (Gaslow) open cos you use the gaslo regulator... :thumb:

All it is is an extension to the gaslow bottle...

If you are filling up a gas bottle from another gas bottle you will only fill it half full as the pressure equalizes between the two.

If your not ignore as I havent a clue what tight arse Shifftys on about, he's always on about 50% :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeh but may be useless without the tank adaptors too.

I spent a fiver for a regulator Snowbird assures me fits a Moroccan tank.

likewise, i have an adapter that fits onto an existing pigtail, i was just answering the OP , Can it be done the way he asked, without messing with existing hoses? answer is yes with this hose ans as you say appropriate adapter.

All did was to make sure he did not just buy the piece of pipe and end up somewhere only to find the pipe on it's own did not work.

It may fit one cylinder type but I don't know this.

Your question has been answered, now another question, WHY? you did say for example Spain. Getting filled up here is possible, and is becoming easier as more installations are being introduced. Is there an advantage of adding an exchange local type cylinder, if so can someone tell me so I can keep up to date. Outside Europe where LPG is not available, I can see the advantage.

The only real answer is...

That if you are set up on a site for a few weeks, it will be a pain to take every thing down and stack it away to go and refill your bottles..

And you could have a forty/fifty + mile round trip to do so..

I think.. ::bigsmile:

You think right Mo. We used this set up whilst at Benidorm last winter, and will be doing so again this year. As far as I know the nearest LPG outlet to Benidorm is at Alicante, making for an 80 mile round trip.

Why?

Because LPG gas stations are OFTEN out of gas!

Also, if you are parked up for 6 months on a site, with awning affixed - its a pain to detach it all just to fill up with gas - if they've got any !!!
