Any thoughts on Samyang lenses? They are being sold by Walimex, another company I have never heard of..

Known for very good glass, fast lenses at very cheap prices. Picture quality is excellent. AFAIK all the lenses are MF, if you can live with that then they are an excellent buy. Research the particular lens your interested in, most have been reviewed by the big US camera sites:thumb:

i have been looking at buying one of there 14mm wide angle lens for my astrophotography very good write ups and very sharp , they are also branded under other names, Vivitar, Falcon, Rokinon, Walimex, Bower and Pro-Optic. ,,
