At the beginning of this season, we started looking at panel van conversions, as an option to our Hymer Starline, to give us access to areas hitherto not available. Downsizing....well after looking at Newark, Lincoln and the Birmingham NEC, we still have not found a model that meets our needs, which means it will have to be a bespoke conversion, ouch!...project now in progress.

So we will be listing our Hymer 700 Starline for sale shortly, if anyone is interested, PM me an e-mail address, and I will forward images and details, before I list it on e-bay etc.

Thanks Peter, we looked at this model, and discounted it due to lack of storage.

WE have a Sussex Duo, after downsizing from a Hymer B584 and have found after dumping out all the cr## that we toted about previously and never used, we have space to spare.
We have had it a year now and have had good use of it, including an 8 week european trip.
37 mpg and love it !!!!

Yes Chrisboyo, you are spot on, we are in the process of clearing out, all that stuff we carry "just in case".

We have e-bikes, which we want to store within, not carry on a rack, that has proved difficult, but a local converter has agreed to build to our design requirement, so we should be ok.

Thats a good fuel return, had not thought of that, thanks.:thumb:
