When I inspected the camper I was completely unaware of the name of the converters. Terry Pratchett has a word to describe that van, Shonky.

It seems that they have a bit of previous...........

I must say that the Pierce Brosnan lookalike that did the professional assessment of the Iveco looks like he might have a future in show business........... whatever his name was -didn't quite catch it... Diamond David forever, or something :ROFLMAO:

My mistake - got my film star knowledge all wrong..... How could I make such an error? :winky:

I think it was the film "oceans 17" or something where an Iveco self build was used in a jewellery heist....

Its probably about 25 mins in that I appear, worth watchnig the full prog, or just the seg
ents about the camper. Its one of those progs where they cover a couple of stories and split each one into segments then interleave them. The best news of all is that Jo Chapple won her court case and got her money, that's what I call a result :thumb:

Well I didn't really work "with" him as such, he stayed in the house with the young lady while I gave the camper the once over. I did meet him and he seemed a pleasant enough chap to be fair. He does come over as quite pompous on the prog and there is a bit of an anomally in how he describes himself: "I've worked as a coal miner, a bricklayer, I've slept rough........." then a bit later "I've been a QC most of my working life". Ah well, at least the real people won their cases.

I have noticed, once on TV, they always do.

Ester Rancid paved the way.

Your contribution as edited was more "and" rather then "starring" but I bet your input was far more meaningful. In fact you were The Expert, Mr Prat was the support act. My impression was that a a day's work and it would have been a decent job but those tossers did not like the extra day's work.
