I've got around 50 letters saved in a folder which I'd like to print out. Is there any way of printing all with a click or two instead of opening each one? On Windows 7.

highlight all files you want to print, right click on them and select print. works with images and documents:thumb:

In Explorer, click on the first document. Hold the shift key down and click on the last document. They should all be highlighted now.

Drag them all across to the printer icon..

This should work if you have stand printer drivers installed.

PS: The Big1's way is quicker and probably easier.

Out of curiosity I had a go. Called up WORD, highlighted 6 letters then right clicked print, all were sent to print queue.
I disconnected printer first and will now delete from print queue.
So the answer in my case is YES

Is there no end to the expertise available on MHF? Great tool.

No there isn't. Could've googled it myself of course but Funsters usually come up with answers that actually work. I'll try when I've had me tea.

The only thing you may need to be cautious of is sending large documents in this way as your printer may not have enough memory in it to be able to store the contents to then print them. I would do them in batches rather than all at once. :thumb:

That used to be the case when printers had their own memory.
These days the data is spooled to the printer on request. However it is probably good advice anyway:thumb: and I would do them in smaller batches in case of problems.
