Spainish sites (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know of a site on the Costa Blanca which also rents out caravans or chalets in January please?
We have stayed in villas and, or apartments over the winter months for the past couple of years and always, at the parade of kings time get daughter and grandchildren over from England for a week or so.
Now we have the motorhome so, accommodating them aboard is not really an option. It might be a ' in brackets' five berth but really it's just ideal for two, plus the two dogs, and I'm not too sure about the dogs as they always seem want to go out when you want to go to sleep or worse, when you are asleep! We have found some sites on the Internet, but first hand knowledge from someone who has stayed is always good.
Hope someone can advise and recommend. Thanks

Am on a site in Benidorm that has 6 new 2 bedroom chalets. Very nice they are too. Camping La Toretta. Link Removed

We stayed here during the autumn and they hire out accomodation. The site is a mile or so from the old town but lots of bars etc near by. Its on the beach (pebble) and the bus stop to Benidorm is not far away.

Not many British on site when I was there, Belgiums, Dutch and German mostly.

Site mostly gravel, toilet blocks need updating and electric supply dodgy (cut out almost every day) and only 5 amps.

But in my opinion generally any site that is fairly large and open all year will have accomodation of some sort to rent out.

Altea is about 7 miles from Benidorm.

Raco and Almafra both in Benidorm Raco is the nearest to centre, both rent out. Pete

Arena Blanca ( opposite the Roco ) also has static chalets. Best bit - its an easy walk into Benidorm town and has good local bars

As above.. a lot of the sites in Benidorm do them..
However, unless you really want them on on site with you I have often found apartments to be just or even cheaper and a lot more available....

Just noticed the bit about dogs... Not sure how you stand there..
Camping villasol does not allow dogs at all.

Camping Roquetas at Roquetas de Mar, This is a good site and they have chalet's there, bar laundry etc, if you go with a m/h in the winter months they give you 2 plots for the price of 1. We used it when or family came out, and it is not far from the airport at Almeria.
