I know you are supposed to put the "Wiper Blades" on the outside, but I think it stops them from perishing, under...

I'm a newbie
Have you found the covers cut down on condensation on the windows? Do they keep the inside noticeably warmer?
Are they bulky to store?
We have fitted blinds but they are thin, great for keeping out the light but not for keeping in the warmth, considering buying the covers you have.

Makes a terrific difference in the winter... I like the sliding internal blinds, but they don't keep much heat in, and the last trip we did get condensation on the inside...

Hence getting the silver screen, which definitely makes a big difference.. mainly because the front and side windows are single glazed, so you lose a loot of heat through them.. And we have never sufferd from condensation what ever M.Home or RV we have had them on.. :thumb:

Also in hotter climes the silver screens keep the inside cooler... Win, win situation.. :thumb:

PS.... They come with a nice bag, which is not to bulky to store.. :thumb:

They look a lot beter than any i have seen this side of the water.
Where did you get them ?
How much do they cost?
Do they have to make them to fit or do you just give make & model?

Once again thanks for the photos.

Mel,

They will supply for a specific model of MH, or tailor make if not on their list. You just need to make sure that they know which side your cab door is on, when ordering.

From October through to March/April, we wouldn't be without them. I just wish we had gone for the additional screen mesh, when having ours tailor made by Taylormade. They are the other main external screen suppliers.

I have to say, that if I take our screens over the wiper blades, rather than under, I wouldn't get the end flap in through the sliding window correctly.

Good luck,

Jock.

They do have used ones as well, I bought some for less than £100 and they look brand new.
They really are great people to deal with, a 1 man and his daughter team.. The son has his own company set up in competition I think, but I dealt with the 'old man'.. Excellent..

They look a beter fit than some I have seen.

A lot look like they belong on a diferent vehicle they fit that bad.

I saw some on a Rapido in France that look awefull either badly made or badly placed.

I will go with Silver Screen I think.

Well, they would help with the condensation, but not your shop window!

Taylormade are just as good, and also a family business. I bought extra long screen covers to cover the ventilation grilles on the bonnet. They also make a selection of bags and covers for all manner of things. The two companies are quite close to each other!

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
Had silverscreens "paragon" on the last van & have Taylormade with this one.
I would say there is nothing to choose between them in fit & quality.

Bought some recently off Feabay for about £50.00, easy to fit and they have made a big difference to the insolation of our motorhome. :thumb:
